Lynn McKinniss
Lynn is an experienced health care professional with over 20 years as Director of Activities in the long term care setting. She has also been an activity consultant at area nursing homes teaching others. For four years she served as the Director of Quality of Life for a local nursing home performing duties of Social Service designee, discharge planner, and overseeing the resident's activities. Lynn received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University, Athens with a major in Physical Education. Her Masters of Education in Administration of Recreation was also granted at Ohio University, Athens. She completed additional training of the 90 hour Activity Professional Course.
Lynn has always been drawn to the work and involvement with the senior population. She believes that everyone deserves to be maintained at their individual highest level of functioning for their Quality of Life.
Lynn grew up on a farm in Adams County, Ohio and tries to stay close to her roots. She resides out in the country in Clayton with her husband, Michael. They have three grown children, Erin (Eduardo), Matt (Dana), and Stephen. They have been blessed thus far with two grandsons, Lucas and Owen. Besides enjoying family time she loves to garden, trying new recipes, and sewing.
